Before coming to David , Simon Swallow spent
seven years skiing and working in the Alps.
He built these two pieces in ripple ash for
his mother. He went on to set up his own
workshop in Wiltshire.
After gaining
a
MBA he has now moved back to North Devon and
is setting up a workshop here. |

Scott Horsborough, an ex-accountant, made this
writing cabinet and coffee table in Tiger Oak.
After a spell with a production furniture maker,
he has built his own workshop and house in
Yallingup, south of Perth Australia.

John Barnes, who was building timber framed
houses in northern California made this chest of
drawers in English Oak for his parents.He has
now built his own house and workshop near Arcata
and is busy buying machinery to start making
fine furniture again. |

operating from his workshop in Chagford on
